Heidi Schlenzig Mental Health Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Providing Compassionate Mental Health Care for Complex Trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Addictions

We Care.

Honoring Heidi’s spirit by helping others find healing, hope, and community.

Healing with compassion, creativity, and community.

Who We Are

We are Heidi’s family and friends—the people who knew and loved her deeply. Heidi was a beautiful soul who fought bravely through the challenges of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), complex trauma, and addiction. She dreamed of becoming a therapist so she could help others who struggled as she did.

On August 7, 2024, Heidi passed away tragically. Her love, her dreams, and her spirit live on through this foundation.

The Heidi Schlenzig Mental Health Foundation is our promise to carry forward her legacy—to provide the care, understanding, and support that she and so many others deserve.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to ensure that individuals with BPD, complex trauma, and addiction receive the holistic, compassionate care they need to heal.

Our Mission

Mental health care often fails those struggling with BPD and complex trauma. Many people, like Heidi, experience misdiagnosis, harmful treatments, and a lack of true support.

We exist to change that.

✔ We provide holistic, trauma-informed mental health services that meet people where they are.

✔ We create a safe, supportive community for healing and connection.

✔ We advocate for compassionate, effective care for those who have been misunderstood and overlooked.
